It's too hot for us to dance in sunlight, but these palms know that an afternoon shower may cool them off. We have had some rain, but like much of the country are far below what we need. Fresh water from heavy rain is necessary to the good health of the Everglades. Our climate may be changing quicker than we would like. It's done that before, but not dramatically in human memory. Are we, as a dominant species, overwhelming earth's vital organs? Sold
